First aid is a nice catch phrase for safety enthusiasts and concerned mothers. I’d be considered an idiot if I didn’t bring any first aid materials with me on the trip. However, the extent that I know about practicing first aid is with the application of band-aids. This should cover about half the injuries that I might sustain during the trip. The other half of injuries that I most likely will sustain will require a defibrillator to address.
Despite this, you can never be too careful. So I’m bringing with me a whole fanny pack full of first aid materials, ranging from band aids, to pills, to sunscreen to etc. Honestly, most of this stuff I wouldn’t trust to imbibe even if I was half dead on the side of the road and the other half is probably expired or has no actual medical use. In any case, as I said before, I’d be considered a fool traveling without first aid so I am taking this bright red package full of health trinkets on the trip. Maybe I can trade it with a life guard for a pack of smokes or a boogie board. Slide my way across the sea into the promised land.
