I get my rocks off by generating categories and page names that use the word “bohemian” and some other word that starts with a “b” yet is synonymous with the category that I want to create. For example, the “Bohemian Biker” category holds all posts pertaining to biking. This sometimes results in some awkward and downright stupid categories – such as “Brouhaha Bohemian” or “Burlesque Bohemian”. There’s nothing I can do about that. There’s no turning back now.
Here’s a description of the captivating categories that await you:
B Movie Bohemian: Features reviews of new and old movies using our proprietary Puppet Rating System (aka PUPPETS).
Bastard Bohemian: Reserved for rants fueled by alcohol, distraction and lack of exercise. I’ll slap this category onto anything that, once I proofread, leaves me feeling shameful or in some way diminished.
Beer & Brew Bohemian: Here you will find beer reviews and homebrewing tips from our distinguished resident beer expert.
Biased Bohemian: This category is applied to any post that is not fully researched using credible resources that have been fact-checked. Pretty much assume that everything on this website is on the spectrum between exaggerated and fabricated.
Blissed Bohemian: This category is used for all posts pertaining to spirituality – for me this mean Buddhism. I’ll keep my rants on bible-thumping fundamentalists relegated under the “Biased Bohemian category”.
Bohemian Biker: Here you can find details on my cross-country adventure by bike.
Bohemian in Portland: A collection of articles paying homage to Portland Oregon, the bohemian mecca of the United States.
Bookish Bohemian: A category containing reviews of books and other literature. Probably never going to use this category but nice to think I would have the motivation in any case.
Baroque Bohemian: This is where our unpaid and highly opinionated resident music expert files reviews on music and other sound artifacts. The rabbit hole is thick and rich and dirty.
Burlesque Bohemian: Here you can read all things farcical and in the spirit of satire. Other synonyms include: mockery, parody, charade, spoof, lampoon, pasquinade, farce comedy, sendup, travesty, put-on, takeoff, and my favorite “forcemeat“.
